Carey Head is an actor, writer, storyteller, and filmmaker based in the Charlotte area since 1998. In 2013, as a break from the seriousness of his IT consulting business, he took a weekend improv course.

Carey’s weekend hobby quickly evolved into a new full-time pursuit. Apart from CATCh, he spends his days volunteering with the Gastonia Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol as the Disaster Preparedness Officer and assistant Public Affairs Officer. He's also on the Board of Directors for the Little Theater of Gastonia and Project Outpour, and Deejays on WFAE 91.7 radio on Thursdays from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.

When Carey has some free time, enjoys playing board games with his three boys, planning his next film, and watching his beloved Crimson Tide play football.
